So sorry to learn that your mother died. I must agree with the obit stating that she was beautiful inside and out. Fond memories of her at church. Prayers for your comfort.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. We grew up together. They moved into the original Burkett homeplace when she was 4 or 5 years old. We played with dolls and built playhouses. We all walked to Green Mountain school through the 7th grade. We did not get weather cancellations so we walked through rain, snow and sleet every day. We went to Fulton Methodist Church together. It was all great times together. Later in life we ended back in the same area. We sang in the choir, sometimes I was not able to go practice so when I would start singing when it was someone else singing the part she would geve me a sharp elbow in the side. We just kinda smiled and kept going. Many fun memories.
