Gerald will be greatly missed. I am so thankful for the wonderful memories you all have. The video was a wonderful tribute to Gerald and the Anderson family who he loved so deeply and who love each other so deeply. So sorry for your loss. May you find help to cope through friends and family. When we lose such caring, talented people, it leaves behind wounds of pain and grief. The Bible offers comfort and hope for our loved ones who have died. You can read it at Job 14:14, 15 and Revelation 21:3, 4.

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

I consider Gerald to be one of my closest friends that I have. Not just through music. I was his plumber. Years ago I met him through a mutual friend, Mac Sumner whom I’ll always be grateful for introducing us. I then found out he was a mentor to my cousin Spencer. Gerald was so kind to me and my family. We have a special needs son that he absolutely adored. He always made sure we had access to the festivals and parking to make it easier on us. He had such a good heart. He made me a beautiful OM-41 last year. We would go to Sarah’s place and eat every time that I was up there. A lot of times I would bring my youngest son Conor with me and he would always Bring his dad with him until Steve got to feeble to go with us. He was truly one of a kind. I will miss him dearly. I can only imagine what he’s experiencing right now. He’s in the presence of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I’ll always love and miss him. God rest your sweet soul my brother. Thank you for all the love and music you passed our way...

I am so sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. My husband & I stopped several years ago at Wayne's shop & Gerald was the only one there. He was very gracious and told us what he and Wayne did, making gutairs and mandolins. This was before I had met Wayne who is a cousin of mine and I was looking for him.I have since met Wayne and his daughter Jane. My husband, Gene has passed away 5 years ago .I was so proud to meet Gerald and he was so nice to us! I live in Randle, Wa. Bless Geralds' family...

My heart was broken when I heard the news. It was great to get to know him over the years as we traveled to different places for the Orthophonic Joy project that he was a part of for the Birthplace of Country Music. I even have a Gerald Anderson guitar which I will forever treasure and pass down to one of my children.
Gerald was one of the nicest persons I have ever had the honor of knowing and my life was enriched by his kindness and friendship.
Praying for peace and comfort for his family and friends in the days ahead.
