Obituary of William Cullop
MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM E. "ED" CULLOP, age 70, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Smyth County Community Hospital. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and was retired from Marion Composites. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alverdia Hall Cullop; one sister, Virginia Gillenwater; and one brother, Eugene Cullop. Mr. Cullop is survived by his wife, Nancy Gollehon Cullop of Marion, Virginia; one daughter, Carol Cullop Graves of Germantown, Maryland; one son and daughter-in-law, William E. "Bill" & Vicki C. Cullop of Daleville, Virginia; one sister, Myrtle M. Hall of Marion, Virginia; two brothers, Thomas B. Cullop, Jr. and Roy F. Cullop both of Marion, Virginia; three grandchildren, Erick Graves and wife, Kim, Kimberly Graves, Jennifer Graves; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Robert S. Thornton and Rev. Jack Stevens officiating. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
