Obituary of Delores Buchanan

MARION, Va.

Delores " Miss Eagle " Buchanan age 72, passed away Friday , June 14, 2019 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion Va.

Delores was a loving wife, grandmother and friend. She loved her wrestling family and was known as "Miss Eagle". Delores enjoyed life and was ready to reenter the Pro-AM Wrestling circuit as a promoter and manager. She was the promotions manager for the Crossroads Mall in Roanoke for fifteen years, before that she was in law enforcement. Delores liked to work with people and made many friends. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Tucker; and parents, Bill and Alice Akers.

Delores is survived by her husband of 38 years, Evert Buchanan, Marion VA.; son, Curtis Tucker Jr., Roanoke, VA.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, J.C. and Judy Testerman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18 2019 at 12 noon at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 11 to 12 noon at Seaver- Brown Chapel.
