Tommy was my brother, 1st guy I met at Elon , and I mean in the 1st hour. We were roommates , and best friends, I hunted with him in VA, he hunted with me in NC, he was a founding member of the MPU’s, he was the guy that brought us (Elon) together, I’m at a lose, I’m heart broken, but the memories of my friend will always be good. I miss you Willard, I’ll see you soon By God.

Tommy was a step dad to me and the only father figure i ever had for a big part of my childhood. He taught me many things that ill never forget and things that i use on a daily basis, like driving and how to do a few things on cars. His memory will always stay with me.
Im sorry for the sadness that this loss has caused him family and friends. He will be missed terribly.

I was so glad I met Tommy, he was a very smart in figuring out how to solve things quickly, also I was graced by his talent in music. He was always asking how I was doing and seemed to always know when something was bothering someone and would sit and listen to you. I am so sorry for your loss. It’s with great sadness i hear of the passing of my friend Tommy. While it’s been many years since I’ve seen Tommy, our friendship seems just like yesterday. Tommy was one of my closest friends growing up, one of the small group of five or six that hung out together, went camping together & got into trouble together. Over the years our lives took different roads but every several years our paths would cross and it was like we were back in high school and no time had elapsed. When I think back to the first half of my life and the people in it, the name Tommy Willard along with his warm smile and infectious laugh well always creep into my memory. Rest In Peace my friend.
