You all don't know me. Donald and I went to Riverside Elementary school together. We were good friends. He was a good person. I spent the night with him a couple of times. We always had fun. I also knew ( and had a crush on ) his little sister Shirley. I'm also 70 years old and live in Bristol. 58 years since I seen him is a long time but I'll never forget him. Bless you.

To the Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. I had the pleasure of riding Don’s bus as a kid. I also cherished eating breakfast with him as an adult and watching him light up getting to see my children. I will never forget him and will miss him dearly. Many prayers for you during this time!

I will forever cherish the memories of staying with Uncle Donald during my summer visits. The stories he would tell while sitting on the front porch and all the stories I heard about him. He was always happy, smiling, laughing and quick with a joke. And I’ll never forget the times I heard him preach. I will miss him but know that I will see him again someday.
