Obituary of Deborah Dianea "Debbie" Osborne
ATKINS, Va.
DEBORAH DIANEA "DEBBIE" OSBORNE, age 59, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va.
Debbie was the love of Jesus on earth. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, mawmaw, friend and nurse. Debbie was a true caregiver. She loved her shop "A Stitch In Time", but more than anything, she loved her Lord and her family. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. Debbie cared for everyone – cooking, nursing, and giving, up until the day she went to her heavenly home. Now as sweet as she was, Debbie was a perfectionist; always right and needed it right now. Her sweet smile, giving spirit, and full of life personality will be missed by all who knew her. Heaven is truly a sweeter place with Debbie there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Lydia Parks Sheets; and her beloved poodle, Pooh Osborne.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Osborne of Atkins, Va.; daughters, Tonya Shupe and husband, Kevin, and Tina Wheeler and husband, Brian; son, Michael Brewster and wife, Kendra, all of Rural Retreat, Va.; and her baby poodle, Dusty Osborne; sister, Dolores Stokes and husband, Tony of Wytheville, Va.; brother, Mitchell Sheets of Marion, Va.; special aunt and uncle, Dottie Surber and Raymond Sheets; mawmaw to seven grandchildren, Canzas, Krisi, Summer, Tyler, Kiara, J'lyn and Chance; mamaw to many; mamaw sweets to Kason Duncan, Kenna Duncan and Alderson Hyler; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Minta Dishman, Kirby and Jayne Hancock, and Shirley Burris; special loved ones, Audrey Parker and Heather Duncan.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastors Todd and Tammy Porter and Pastor Chuck Stout officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Comers Creek Cemetery. Please meet at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service at 10 a.m. to follow in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
