Joan and I reach out to the family and extend our heartfelt sympathy. Ardell was a sweet lady who always treated us with kindness, respect and concern. I remember the first time she came to visit my boyhood home in Sugar Grove. I don't recall the year but I was just a young lad who was fascinated by her "Wisconsin" accent, and her ability to play a piano! She was very talented.
My parents took a "shine" to her right off and it was always a pleasure to interact with her. We admired her tenacity and resilience in dealing with life's challenges and hardships! May her soul rest in peace as she is now in the arms of God.
