On our own behalf and that of the James Monroe High School Class of 1958, we want to express our great sadness with the death of Dr. Sullins. He was a strong mentor for his students long before the term was made popular. His firm but fair administration provided JM students with clear direction and focus as they prepared for their futures as citizens, spouses, parents, and grandparents. Howard joined us every five years and most recently in June of last year as his "students" celebrated their 60th anniversary since graduation. We mourn his passing but will always carry the positive JDR45imprint he made on our lives.
