Obituary of Joseph Allen Pennington

Marion, Virginia

Joseph Allen Pennington, infant son of Jamie Crouse of Marion, Va. and Keith Pennington of Atkins, Va., passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Niswongers Birthing Center, Johnson City, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William “Bill” Teaster, and Edward and Nina Huffman.

Joseph is survived by his grandparents, Debra L. Totton of Marion, Donetta Pennington and Paul Pope of Atkins; great-grandmother, Margaret Teaster of Marion; uncle, Jeffrey Crouse and wife, Amber; cousins, Dakota, Vivian, and Cayden Crouse, all of Saltville; great-uncles, Eddie Huffman and Loretta Boyd of Saltville, and Darren Teaster; aunt, Michelle Henderson and husband, Travis; uncle, James Pennington all of Marion; great- aunts, Carol Harris and husband, Mike of Chilhowie, and Ella Roberts and husband, Donnie of Atkins; several other family members and friends including three very special friends of the family, Cynthia Alexa, Gary Neel, and Pat Atkins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Cemetery.
