Obituary of Shelia Bright Romary

MARION, Va.

Shelia Bright Romary, age 53, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home.

Shelia was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend with a heart of gold for everybody. She was outgoing and never had a bad word for or about anybody. Shelia enjoyed her crossword puzzles, riding the bus to see her friends, and talking to you on the phone anytime day or night to cheer someone up or see what she could do to help. If you were down in the dumps, a talk with Shelia sure made a difference. She would often say, "If you don't have a smile, I'll give you one." Shelia will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Bright; and parents, James Cecil Haga and Wanda Norman Sexton.

Shelia is survived by her son, Jonathon Lee Remines and wife, Shanda of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Anita Price and husband, Jack of Marion, Va. and Angela Hockett and husband, Don of Atkins, Va.; brother, Jason Sexton of Sugar Grove, Va.; three grandchildren, Spencer Remines, Zachery Remines, and Lillee Rose Remines; several nieces and nephews; and special Doug Suits, Mitchell Sheet, Irene Kloeckner, Ann Cousins, Donnie Hausee and Shannon Martin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 12 noon at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will be private in Greenhills Memory Garden, Cedar Bluff, Va. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
