Obituary of Tripp Watson, Jr.

Marion, Va.

“Tripp” Darel Lee Watson, Jr., age 26, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at his home in Marion, Va.

Tripp was a special guy from the day he was born. If you knew him, you loved him and the way he always wanted everyone to be happy. Tripp never met a stranger. He finished Trade School with a certification in welding, but his passion was working on cars. Tripp loved to fix cars and show people or “school them” on what was wrong with their vehicle. He loved to drive fast. “Ride or die” he would say. His smile and fun-loving personality will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandpaw and grammy, William Jake and Mildred C. Irvin; and his uncle, Kimble Watson.

Tripp is survived by his parents, Darel Lee and Krystal Watson; his grandmothers, Brenda Cheryl Long and Virginia Christine Hughes; uncle and aunt, Keith and Karen Watson; special friends, Erica Hurley and Ariel “Zoom Zoom to the Moon” Galvez; a special niece, Keily Watson Cleveland and husband, Dallas; several nieces, nephews and many friends also survive.

The family will host family and friends to celebrate Tripp’s life, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at their home, 320 South Park Street, Marion, Va beginning at 6p.m. A private service will be held a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to help with final expenses.
