Obituary of Joe Franklin Martin

MARION, Va. Joe Franklin Martin, age 59, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va. Joe loved to mow and fix lawnmowers. You'd see him riding his lawnmower with a girlfriend in the cart. They were hard workers and enjoyed their time together. Joe will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Lessie Darnell Martin; and sister, Debbie Waskey. Joe is survived by his sisters, Bertha Campbell of Sugar Grove, Va. and Louise Wassum and husband, James of Marion, Va.; brother, Arthur Martin and wife, Carol of Sugar Grove, Va.; sister-in-law, Nancy Martin of Marion, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
