Chris! What a loss! I love the way your family wrote your obituary...they told it like it was! You were who you were and you owned up to it every single day! You were an open book and even wanted to get involved in going to schools to tell kids "look at me...look at what I've done...DON'T DO IT!" You were a huge part of the family here at FMM. You made a difference in so many lives including team members and other residents. You visited and talked to some who may have been yelling out or confusion was ruling their actions and mind. You held their hand, you talked to them, you sang to them, you made a difference. God put you here for a reason buddy and I'm sure he's beginning to tell you why right now! We all miss you and we are so happy to know that we'll be talking to you again and that you will be running, not walking, around heaven. And yep, if anybody can find mischief in heaven I know you'll find it! You'll do your darndest to assure everyone is having fun. We love and miss you friend!

Chris,
You are and always will be a special person to me. My heart breaks for your boys but they knew you loved them completely. I have missed you terribly the last few months since I took this new position. The way you called me "Squid" will ring forever in my mind. You were always a great man not only to me but to many of your family at the manor. Your singing down the halls was always fun and the singing of hymns with the other members of the manor touched so many people. You are loved beyond words. You stand relieved Marine. You have served us well. Thank you.
To your family, Chris talked to me about you all the time and he lived you all to tears that he shared with me. I pray the Lord grants all of you peace in the upcoming days, months and years. Carry this man in your hearts for the rest of your life.
Thank you to the family for sharing this incredible man with us.
