Today is Apr 4, 2019, and I have just this moment found out about Lynda's passing. I can't tell you how sorry I am. When she lived in both Hunt Club Apts and the in Carriage Hill Apts we were friends and had met some years earlier at Lightfoot's, a club with the greatest dance bands ever. Lynda was a fabulous dancer and she and I were the only ones old enough to remember the James Brown and boy, that footwork was terrific. We'd met by dancing with our own partners and then realizing that we both danced almost identically. We started to laugh and then just turned into each other and danced for the next 2 songs. At the end, there was tons of applause and we loved it. That was the beginning of our friendship and a few years later, I moved just around the corner from her after my divorce. Many times I had her over for dinner and we'd talk for hours and I almost felt like I knew Robyn from our conversations over dinner. As things happen in life, my mother died and so I moved away and lost touch with Lynda. Tonight she was really on my mind and I wondered if she was still at Carriage Hill and the search began. I remembered she was from Marion and that's when I saw this notice of her death and ...well, I couldn't even breathe for a minute. I don't know what happened with her but I do know she sure did love her family and she loved her pets. She'll be missed and I'll be one of those missing her.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about Lynda's passing. She truly was a part of our family, and I will miss her so much. She has been in my life since I was a kid, and I appreciate all of the years of friendship she had with my mom. Lynda was a joy to be around, and we are blessed to have had her in our lives. Praying for your family as you grieve the loss of this sweet lady.

My heart is breaking and I know yall’s are too. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was my sister and I loved her dearly. I will miss her more than I can say. I would like to have attended her service but my husband has the flu and can’t leave him. I will send a contribution to the mental health. I may not be there in person but will there in Spirit.
