I am saddened to hear of Kevin's death. I grew up in Marion and were friends with the Soos family from the age of seven or so. Kevin and I were close once upon a time. I was so happy when he met Lynn. He was a kind, sweet soul and deserved much love and happiness. Lynn, I am sorry we never met. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know. Please take care of yourself.

I was a school classmate of Kevin's in grade school along with Danny Tilson. Many moons ago for sure. Kevin was always a quite individual but a very kind soul. I started my first radio ministry at WMEV and shortly thereafter I started a radio program at WOLD called "Don't Turn Him Away". Once again I crossed paths with my old friend Kevin. Standing in front of that microphone and looking just beyond that plate glass window there sat Kevin smiling and listening to my words. Many of a conversation followed those 12:35 Sunday programs. Kevin along with his kind voice will be highly missed. My prayers is for God's grace to be there for his family.

Kevin was a great guy, always smiling and kind. The class of 73 lost a wonderful classmate. Prayers and sympathy for his loved ones left behind.

I went to high school with Kevin and I also remember him to be the most kind and gentle person. I don’t remember a lot of people from high school but I do remember him as he made such an impression with his ever friendly “kind to all” personality. I’m sure he has left this lasting impression on FAR more people than myself. I’m sending my deepest and sincerest condolences to his family.

My Good and Gentle Friend, Kevin.
Always enjoyed time working with you at the studio in the 70’s. What a Great time to be a DJ in a community where you were loved and admired. Your attention to detail made you one of the best!
I was driving home from work tonight and Kevin popped into my mind for some reason, and as I wondered how he was doing, I saw his warm smile from a FB picture I had seen. I was shocked to hear the sad news tonite. When we meet again, I look forward to the warm voice of Kevin as he announces my arrival. Rest Now My Good Friend!
