Obituary of Kandra D. Hart

MARION, Va.

Kandi Hart, age 52, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home in Marion, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Flo Hart.

Kandi was full of life from day one. She was always smiling. Kandi loved her youth – she was a member of the band, a majorette, and a friend to everyone, especially her classmates from the MSHS class of ’83. Later in life she pursued her career dream of being a Registered Nurse. She helped many of her patients medically, but also with her contagious smile and positive upbeat attitude. When she wasn’t working, she would golf, kayak, bow hunt and bowl...she was up for anything.

Behind Kandi’s smile was a sad girl who had many struggles...she overcame many obstacles, but sadly, many of her troubles overcame her. Kandi Hart was a wonderful, fun-loving girl and so many will miss her, her friendship, and that smile.

She is survived by many people who shared in the good times and so many who cared for her in the tough parts of Kandi’s life. Her faithful K-9 companion Lucy, continues to look and wait for her return.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6 until 9 p.m. at The Grand Ballroom, 132 East Main Street, Marion, VA 24354. Please drop in and celebrate Kandi's memory.
