To Ada's children and grandchildren: I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother and my aunt. I have many memories of Ada. She kept me while my parents worked. She was a very busy mother and also caregiver to her own parents. Often when I think of Ada I see her in that rocker rocking and singing a baby to sleep or in the kitchen preparing a meal. She always made the best gravy and sometimes she would put it over cornbread and it was so good, and I can't leave out her famous stack pie and those not so sweet cookies, I loved them. My dear Dad will be lost without her, he called her everyday and most of the time twice a day.
Rest in peace Dear Ada your life has made an imprint in our hearts we will miss you so much....

I'm so sorry to hear that she has left us, I kept thinking I needed to go visit her. I've always loved her and admired her, I told her I thought that she had e.s.p.! lol She always seemed to know things that hadn't happened yet. I'm going to miss you Ada. God's speed to June, I know you'll be rejoicing to see him again!

I am saddened to hear of Aunt Adas passing. We had just spoken the Sunday morning she died, as we had every Sunday morning for the past few years. I told her I would be there for Decoration and as always, she would be the first one I visited. She said her place was kind of messy and I told her I wasn't coming to see her place, I was coming to see her. It was a very nice conversation, about a half hour. I will always treasure my time visiting with Ada. She was my moms younger sister.
