Obituary of James Haga
MARION, VIRGINIA: JAMES RALPH HAGA, age 86, died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Olivene DeFriece Haga and a daughter, Ruby Firestone of Roanoke, Virginia. He is survived by two daughters, Rosieta H. Davidson and husband, Roy of Princeton, West Virginia, and Betty Haga of Marion, Virginia. One son-in-law, Harvey Firestone, Jr. of Roanoke, Virginia. One brother, William B. Haga of North Carolina. Three grandchildren, Gary Davidson of Charleston, South Carolina; Rebecca Bartlett and husband, Jeff of Roanoke, Virginia; and Angela Ferguson and husband, Steve of Winfield, West Virginia. Five great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kelsey Bartlett of Roanoke, Virginia, Drew, Faith, and Katie Ferguson of Winfield, West Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Wallace Smith and Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Attoway Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
