Obituary of Sharon Adams

CHILHOWIE, Va.

Sharon Adams, age 56 died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ella Mae Havens when she was very young. Sharon and her siblings were then loved, cared for, raised and adopted by Ella Mae’s brother and sister in law, Carl and Louise Taylor. Sadly, Carl and her brothers Mitchell, James and Stanley have also preceded her in death.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Mike Adams of Chilhowie, Va.; her mother, Louise Taylor Thompson and husband, Bill of Marion, Va.; three sisters, Kathy Collins and husband, Dewey of Marion, Va., Lois MacLean of Chilhowie, Va. and Caroyln Pugh and husband, James; several step-children, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

At the request of Mrs. Adams and her family, all services will be private.
