Obituary of Lenora Gillespie

MARION, Va.: LENORA GILLESPIE, age 96, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Wexford House in Kingsport, Tenn.

She was a longtime member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church and had recently attended Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, Va. since her move from Marion to the Tri-Cities. Ms. Gillespie was retired from Harwood after over 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frazier Gillespie.

Lenora is survived by her son, Roger Gillespie and wife, Mary Anne of Bristol, Tenn.; foster daughter, Reatha Baker of Pinnacle, N.C.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Bryan Hall of Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, Va. officiating. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Marion, Va. The family will receive friends Friday, June 9, 2017 from Noon until 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
