Obituary of James Henry Daniels, Jr.

MARION, Va. JAMES (JIMBO) HENRY DANIELS, JR., 56, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Jimbo was born October 11, 1960 in Suffolk, Va. He was a friend to everyone he met and could go anywhere and would always run into someone he knew. He loved life itself, and his family, and friends. He thought life was to be celebrated and he knew the Lord as his Savoir. He was preceeded in death by his parents, James Henry Daniels, Sr. and Melvenia Roberts Wilson. Jimbo is survived by his wife, Sonya Daniels of Marion, Va.; three daughters, Brittany Kelly and husband, James and Crystal Daniels, all of Marion, Va., and Laurel Daniels of Sugar Grove, Va.; five sons, William Strouth Jr., Robert Strouth and Jacob Strouth, all of Sugar Grove, Va., and Preston Widner, and Larry Akers, both of Marion, Va.; three sisters, Helen Holman and husband, Larry of Marion, Va.; Shelia Camacho and husband, Lucio of Chesterfield Va. and Julie Pauley and husband, Brian of Atkins, Va.; brother, Roy Wilson, Jr. and wife, Karen of Franklin, Va.; six granddaughters, Shyane Kelly of Marion, Va., Kylee Grace Strouth, Molly Strouth and Trystan Brown, all of Sugar Grove Va. and Stephanie Campbell and Lou Lou Campbell both of Marion Va.; nieces and nephews, Anna Holman, Amber Hancock, Kristina Woods, Landon Camacho and Luca Camacho; several great-nieces and great-nephews; very special friends, Becky and Bobby Widner, James Cregger, Dave Apland, Jeff Thompson, Ricky and Evelyn Davis, and Greg Miller; and his dog, Bam Bam. A Celebration of Jimbo’s life will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Michael Hopkins officiating.
