Lewis thought the world of Allen and they enjoyed many days laughing and telling tales to one another. I met Allen through my husband and learned to love him as Lewis did.

We just read about his passing in today's paper. I did not even know he was ill. I know I should have contacted you about us getting together in the fall. I got too busy and neglected you - my good friend. I tried to call you today. I know you will miss him. The obituary states that you will celebrate his life at a later date. Do you know when that will be? We would like to come.
