Dear Charles and Ruth Ann, I was very sorry when I heard of the death of your mother, Charles. It has been a very long time since I last saw her. I have vivid memories of her accompanying us on our high school band trips. Naturally, she would often have to reprimand us for one of the many things we got into, yet we knew she was there to help us. She made me feel save and secure. This place where we are currently living is only a precursor to our wonderful eternal life in the presence of our Lord. I hope it comforts you to know that you will be able to reunite with her there someday. Sincerely, Ginger Spears

I am sorry to hear of Mrs. Scott's passing. I have spoken to Ruth Ann Scott several times in recent years regarding Mrs. Scott's affairs involving Norton Community Hospital and I wanted to express my condolences. When I came to Norton Community Hospital many years ago, Mrs. Scott had just retired and was working on a relief basis for us. I remember her as being such a vivacious and energetic lady. She truly set an example for all other nurses to follow. She contributed much to Norton Community Hospital and to health care in our community. My sympathy is extended to all of her family. Valeri Colyer, Director of Human Resources, Norton Community Hospital

Charles and Mary Fayne, I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn's death. I have frequently asked Mary Fayne about her. I worked with "Mrs. Scott" for many years at Norton Community and I treasure every one of those years. They do not make nurses like her anymore. Charles, she spoke of you and Ruth Ann so often- and after the grandchildren came along, we were all able to keep up with them through her. She loved you all so very much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. In Christian love, Sharon Nixon
