Thoughts and prayers are with everyone at this time. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Mr. Armstrong had a reputation for being a hard worker, and a man who loved his family. May you find comfort and peace through the many memories you share, and may God provide the strength needed in the time ahead.

I am very sorry for your loss. I've found the Bible to be very comforting when dealing with the death of a loved one. Scriptures like Revelation 21:4 and John 5:28, 29 point to a wonderful hope for the future for us and our loved ones when death and sickness will be no more. This hope can help us endure troubling times right now. Fore more information, please visit www.jw.org.

Spent many a day in my youth hoeing tobacco or working in hay with Sherman Gene. Or down at the dairy barn helping him milk the cows. His was a gentle and sweet spirit with a warm laugh.
His passing leaves me with sadness. But, there is peace in knowing he has crossed the river and is with those who have gone on before him. Praise God for his life and the sweet promise of a life everlasting in heaven.
May the memories warm the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He was a good man.
