Dear Cousin Rick, Marla, Nancy, Judson and family members. We were so sorry to learn we have lost a bright beacon in our family with the passing of Uncle Reuben. He was a kind, caring, proud, witty gentleman. Throughout my long life, I have so many varied memories of him. I still see him at Ashland - climbing the trees for Bartlett; at family gatherings - laughing with his brothers and sisters, striding across Arlington Cemetery handing out bottles of water that he had brought for family & friends because of the heatwave;locking his keys in the truck at Uncle John's funeral;sending out mental telepathy message to me & laughing like the dickens when I would call him up. He believed in a larger world and greater powers in our universe. I will see him in the trees, he loved, the water he so enjoyed and believe that his star is twinkling brightly over you wonderful, generous, sweet kids he loved so much. God Bless you all with peaceful memories of his enchanted soul. Love. and warm hugs, your cousin, Leslie
