Obituary of Herman Leroy Pafford

MARION, Va. HERMAN LEROY PAFFORD, age 57, passed away June 16, 2016. Leroy was a wonderful husband and father. He never met a stranger and he was always happy and smiling. Mr. Pafford will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Mildred Pafford; uncles, Ray and Carson Pafford; aunt, Polly Haga and husband, Buddy; and uncle, Donald Snavely and wife, Linda. Leroy is survived by his wife, Darlene Poe Pafford of Marion, Va.; son, Roy Pafford and wife, Stacey; granddaughter, Katelyn Powers; brothers, Sherrill Pafford and wife, Donna all of Marion, Va., David Pafford and wife, Joyce of Rural Retreat, Va., Charles Pafford and wife, Heidi of Kingsport, Tenn.; sisters, Debbie Dunford and husband, Richard and Sandy Harris and husband, Wayne all of Marion, Va.; uncles and aunts, Cecil Pafford and wife, Patricia of Chilhowie, Va., Joe Pafford and wife, Shirley of Glade Spring, Va.; Mae Hutton and husband, Jeff of Marion, Va., Frances Hester and husband, William of Glade Spring, Va., Roy Snavely of Wytheville, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pafford’s wishes were to be cremated. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a later date. In the meantime, your prayers are appreciated.
