Obituary of Reece Vernard Wyatt

Reece Vernard Wyatt, 85, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of New Carrollton, MD died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Wyatt was a member of Goshen Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Wyatt retired from the United States Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home after 22 years of service. Survivors include his three children, Jeanette Mosedale and husband Dan of Pickerington, OH, Ronald Wyatt and wife Alicia of Crownsville, MD, and Janet Parrish and husband Franklin of Spotsylvania, VA; five grandchildren, Kevin Mosedale, Shaun Mosedale, Amanda Stemm, Michelle Burton, and Joshua Parrish; great-grandchildren, William Bower Jr. and Makenzie Burton; four brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Wyatt and one sister. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 6 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jody Bryant and Rev. Wayne Colton officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Kevin Mosedale, Shaun Mosedale, Joshua Parrish, Kyle Klapac, Tim Klapac, and Joey Klapac. Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Stemm, Michelle Burton, Rosie Klapac, William Bower Jr. and Makenzie Burton.
