Obituary of Jean Kell Morgan

MARION, VIRGINIA: JEAN KELL MORGAN, age 74, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home. She was born on February 15, 1942 in Marion to the late William Alex and Margaret Frances Kell. Mom enjoyed numerous things including bus trips, Wheel of Fortune and spending time with friends in the pool at the Wellness Center. She will forever be remembered for her contagious smile! Even on a bad day you would find a smile on her face! She was an avid history buff and she enjoyed spending time working on genealogy projects, but she will be remembered most as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her! In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Joe Morgan. Jean is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Alan and April Morgan of Marion, Virginia; two grandchildren, Corey and Courtney Morgan; sister, Dana Yvonne Runyon of Bristol, TN; brother, George Kell and wife, Willine of Fayetteville, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews and other special family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Lloyd Day officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. in South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory in Marion, VA.
