Wanda, Felicia, and Jennifer,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in Della Gay's passing. It is a small world and when I discovered the connection Jennifer (who was our neighbor at the time) had to you, Wanda, and Della Gay, I was delighted to know it. It brought back such good memories of Girl Scout Day Camp on the Warren farm many years ago with both Wanda and Felicia and having Della Gay as one of our leaders. She was delightful. Those are good memories and I hope you are richly blessed with many more.

My prayers are with the surviving family members.
Della was certainly loved and will be missed by so many. I first met Harold and Della as young boy in 1970 as I had moved to this area from Detroit. They were the owners of country store in Thomas Bridge and they made us feel so welcome to the community. Their store was certainly a gathering place for so many and it was such a joy to spend time with them enjoying a Pepsi and eating a pack of crackers or a thick sliced bologna sandwich "fresh made" by Della! Yumm! As I sit here and think of them and their love for everyone in our local area I can't help but think of the number of lives they touched. I know they touched mine and I look forward to seeing them again one day.
The scripture reminds us in Matthew 5:4 says " Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted"
Father comfort this family as they lay their loved one to rest.....in Jesus name. Amen

You don't know me but I use to live in Sugar Grove and knew her as a wonderful woman. She watched me grow up and I loved her very much. I have many great memories of her at the church and the neighborhood. I know she will be missed. You will be in my thoughts.
