Obituary of Bobby William Davidson

CHILHOWIE, Va.: Bobby William Davidson, age 71, went to be with his beloved wife of 49 years, Rita Davidson, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia. He was also preceeded in death by his father, William St. John Davidson, one brother, Jerry Franklin Davidson, Sr., one sister, (Ginger) Debra T. Frye, step-father, Matthew Talbert, Sr. and one nephew, John William Davidson. Mr. Davidson is survived by his mother, Pairelee Davidson Talbert of Glade Spring, Virginia, two daughters, Sheri Renee Davidson and husband, Roy of Chilhowie, Virginia, Kristie Davidson Faulkner of Roanoke, Virginia; two sons, Anthony (Tony) Davidson and wife, Chellie of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Timothy Davidson of Chilhowie, Virginia; three brothers, Carroll Junior Davidson and wife, June, Michael Talbert and wife, Jill of Saltville, Matthew Junior Talbert and wife, Margret of Kingsport, Tennessee; seven sisters Mary D. Dinsmore and husband, Bobby, Teresa T. Morgan and husband, Mike of Saltville, Melody T. Meyers and husband, Keith of Marion, Virginia, Sharon and Karen Talbert of Glade Spring, Virginia, Cathy T. Frye and husband, Jerry (Byrd), Delilah T. Olinger and husband Gary (George) of Saltville, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Shelia Davidson, one brother-in-law, Donald Frye of Saltville, Virginia; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobby will be missed by all who loved and knew him. At Mr. Davidson’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
