So sorry I could not be at the funeral service to celebrate Jim's life as I too am celebrating the life of my father who passed this same week. Jim always made it a point to stay in touch and called the house many times over the years. He was an inspiration and a roll model to me and no doubt to countless others. I first met Jim in my home town of Jackson, OH when he first began working for Merillat Industries. That was around 1978 I think. I could only hope to be half the man Jim was. He will be sorely missed but his memory will be with me always.

Our condolences go out to all the family of Mr. Parlier. He was a wonderful person and Luke loved spending time with him and talking about planes and military aircraft - they could sit on the back porch and chat for hours. We will certainly miss him.

I am very sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man to have known and so kind to people. I will always remember him coming in f.bros and talking to me bout his journey through war loved to hear them from him, he told them so good I could not quit listening to him. Heaven gained an awesome angel for sure, he will be missed by so many people here but the legacy he left to the ones who knew him. Jim was one of my favorite customers to wait on at the bank throughout the many years that he came in. Our little "chats" after we finished business was most enjoyable. I still have and treasure a picture of the little farmer boys that he did such a beautiful job framing for me. I will always cherish it and think of Jim and his kindness to everyone. I know you all will miss him but always remember all the kindness and help he passed out along the way.

I had the Honor of meeting and being acquainted with Mr. Parlier for only a few short years, but admired him greatly. As a Brother In Arms, I have some idea of the sacrifices and courage it took for him to serve his Country in such bad times for the World. He, and his generation, hopefully will never be forgotten for their
Salvation of Freedom for all of us today. I am proud that I got to meet him and chat with him on several occasions. I am sad at his passing and extend my Sincere Condolences to his Family. I know he rests in Peace and Love Today and Forever.
