Obituary of Shirley Thomas

MARION, Va.: SHIRLEY EUGENE "JOE" THOMAS, age 75, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Joe was a good man and a wonderful papaw. He will be and has already been missed very much. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Faye Olinger Thomas; daughter, Regina Crystal Thomas; and son, Joey Eugene Thomas. Joe is survived by one brother, Elmer Thomas and wife, Mona of Saltville, Va.; six grandchildren, Joey Levi Thomas, Joey Dewayne Johnson, Teresa Nicole Johnson, Lora Faye Thomas, Michael Cash Thomas and Sarah Cash Thomas.
