Obituary of Creola Sizemore

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: CREOLA MARIE "BLEVINS" SIZEMORE, 81, passed away at home Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Andy and Minnie Blevins from Grayson County. Creola was a good Christian woman who was faithful and loving to her Lord, her Lowman Valley Church and her family. If you knew her, you knew she made the best biscuits and gravy. She was crazy about her family - the grandkids loved their granny. Miss Creola will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel Martin and son, Jerry M. Sizemore. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ray Morrison. She is survived by six daughters, Carolyn Morrison, Abingdon, Virginia; Teresa and husband, Allen Speer; Margie and husband, Kenneth Croy; Pam and husband, Butch Thomas; Lisa and fiancé, Tony Goins and Mildred Webb. All of Atkins, Virginia. She is also survived by three sons, Curtis and wife Sheila Sizemore of Marion, Virginia; Albert and wife Beth Sizemore and Ronald Sizemore, both of Atkins, Virginia; one sister, Ethel Hayden, Wytheville, Virginia; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Helton Valley Baptist Church, Grayson County with Reverend Michael Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Walls Cemetery, Grayson County, Virginia. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday September 5, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
