Jo was a student of mine in the early ages of children with disabilities finally getting an education. Peggy was so active in the Smyth County ARC and Summer Enrichment. She was so supportive of Jo and a very special mom!
I remember the pretty little girl coming to school. We worked to learn some signs and communication but J Michelle always knew what she wanted or was to do. Rat, Hazel and I watched her grow!
I am saddened to hear of her death but I know there is a joyous reunion in heaven with Jo and Peggy. They are talking and having the best visit ever! God bless those she has left behind and give them peace knowing how happy she is now!

family and Judy and Dempsey so sorry for the loss of Jo. She was a sweet young lady but know she is back with her Mom who loved her so much. Prayers for all.
