Obituary of Lindsay Coley

MARION, VIRGINIA: LINDSAY JANE COLEY, age 20, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015. Lindsay was one of a kind. No matter what was going on, she was always smiling. As smart as she was, she was so accepting and kind to everyone. Lindsay did such a good job at taking care of her brothers and sisters and then her own daughter. She was an artistic person with a free spirit who will be so missed by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Wayne J. Sexton, James Edward and Vivian Gay Bise, William W. and Martha A. Spain, and Tom and Lula Coley. Lindsay is survived by a daughter, Eliza Jane Russell; mother, Elizabeth Coley and boyfriend, Jason Marchant; father, Brian Coley and girlfriend, Melinda Williard; two sisters, Abby Coley and Bella Coley; four brothers, Noah Coley, Colin Coley, Logan Willard and Cash Havens; grandparents, Martha and Roger Coley and Linda and William Spain; great-grandmother, Lois Sexton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
