Obituary of Ernest Hawkins

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: ERNEST SHANE HAWKINS, age 44, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Hawkins; son, Alexander Shane Hawkins. Shane is survived by his wife of 19 years, Tanya Hawkins; mother, Theda Hawkins both of Sugar Grove, Virginia; mother and father-in-law, Wanda and Steve Raisor of Melbourne, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Arthur Barker and Nikki and Chris Keyes; niece, Gracie Barker; four nephews, Austin, Ethan and Isaac Barker and Nathaniel Keyes; special uncles, Gayle Combs of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Steve Jones of Independence, Virginia; special aunts, Brenda Hawkins and Drema Copenhaver; special friend, Dave Matney all of Sugar Grove, Virginia; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating.
