MARION, VIRGINIA: TEXIE MARIE CHURCH, age 86, widow of Freeland Monroe "Bill" Church, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at her home in Englewood, Tennessee. She is survived by one daughter, Texie Church Hill and husband, Albert Ray Hill of Englewood, Tennessee; four sisters, Colleen Sullins of Whitetop, Virginia, Anna Ruth Carpenter of Lansing, North Carolina, Wadie Rose Main and husband, Kerry of University, Pennsylvania and Sharon Richardson and husband, Floyd of Lansing, North Carolina; one brother, Spencer C. Greer & wife, Lois of Mountain City, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Andrew Hiriak and wife, Debbie of Pottstown, Pennsylvania and Xenia Marie Atkins of Atkins, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Hiriak and wife, Bethany, Kelsey Shae Hiriak and Joanna Faye Shew; two great-great- grandchildren, Carly Shew and River Shew; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Norma Shew officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
