I will always remember Buford being so kind and patient- and helping me take food orders. When it was busy at the hospital snack bar, he would take the orders for me....and then tell me how to cook eggs over easy!

My Family was blessed to live next door to Bufford and Judy Cregger. It was very common in the warm summer months to find them on our back deck or us on their back deck, sipping tea or drinking coffee. There was always a cake or other food showing up as well. The funny part of this story is that no matter how hot it was, my mother and Mr. Cregger ALWAYS drank cup after cup of hot coffee. Mrs. Cregger and my father were convinced that they were crazy!!! They sat and drank tall glasses of very Sweet, very cold Ice Tea! They also loved to crunch their ice! Therefore, Mr. Cregger and my mom would give them a hard time over drinking their tea and crunching their ice! It was all in good fun but a controversy that never got solved. Coffee will never be the same for me.
