Roy , his mother , father ,sisters and brothers for the most part were family to me . most of his youger sisters were just like sisters to me . His mother and father were like a 3rd set of grandparents to me. Roy was just like my older brother when I was growing up. I spent a lot of my younger life at their home. Unfortunately as we get older we grow apart . I moved to South Carolina and lost touch with Roy and his family . My mother kept me posted about their comings and goings as best she could . this is not like someone I knew early in life passing , this is like losing a close member of my own family. I will miss Roy and his gentle christian nature as long as I live. So long dear friend.
