Obituary of Eleanor Rose

MARION, VIRGINIA: ELEANOR HUBBLE "ELLIE" ROSE age 89, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 07, 2015. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J. York Hubble, and is survived by her loving husband, Bob Rose; children, Marvin Hubble, Ervin Hubble (Linda) and Marsha Livingston (Dan); 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; and a large extended family. She was a member of several churches throughout the years. This multi-talented, gracious woman was a gifted artist, including oil and pastel painting, crochet, sewing banners, and floral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, May 10 at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy. A funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 am, Monday, May 11 at Bethia U.M.C. Interment will be at Zion U.M.C. Cemetery, Nebo, Va at 5 pm. The family would like to thank the staff of Crater Community Hospice.
