Donna and Family, I just heard about the passing of one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I first met Lillian where I worked with her at Kmart when I first moved here to Marion back in the late 1970's. She and Nannie Lou Cox took me in under their wings and loved me and made me feel so welcome when I was so homesick. It's funny how a person can make such an impression on you. She taught me what is was to be a loving mother and how important the Lord was in her life. She also introduced me to her wonderful family and made me feel part of it. I know you are all sad and feeling a great loss but look how special the memories of Lillian will be with you forever. When I think of her I just feel the biggest smile come on my face and the warmest feeling in my heart. Love to you all....

Sorry to hear about your Mom, I remember her as a kind and gentle person. May you find peace in knowing that she is at peace and suffers no more. I remember your Grandmother and family fondly and will pray for them all. Life is so short take care of yourself; you ever come to Myrtle beach area look me up, I live in Murrells Inlet, my family is gone now in Marion, no reason to come back. God Bless
