Dear daughters and family, friends. I had the privilege of meeting Mrs Scott recently at the Lifetime Wellness Center. She told me she had been a member there for years. I enjoyed my conversation and asked her name as we departed. Alpha was a very caring and talented lady. I am sorry for your loss. May God wrap his arms of peace and comfort during this time of grief. Teresa, Susan, And Beth, Your mother was a truly accomplished and special person. Her obituary told us things of which we were not aware, but served to increase our admiration of her even more. However, your mother had a special gift that would be well known to anyone who met her. Alpha Scott had the rare ability to make anyone with whom she interacted feel like a person of value and self-worth, whether it was the custodian or the CEO. We know that our lives were enriched for having known her. She obviously lived her faith and lived her life guided by the Golden Rule. Finally, anyone who knows Alpha Scott's children know that she left the world a better place.
