Obituary of Georgia Tuell

CHILHOWIE, VIRGINIA: GEORGIA TUELL, age 58, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home in Chilhowie, Virginia. Georgia was a wonderful mother and loving "Mamaw" to the loves of her life, her seven grandchildren, who she lovingly referred to as her "Varmints". Ms. Tuell will be remembered as a lady who loved her family and her Lord. She enjoyed reading her Bible each evening before she went to bed. Georgia continually put other before herself. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Hunt and Rosa Lee Short; an infant daughter, Heather Marie Tuell and a sister, Freda Wright of Pound, Virginia. Georgia is survived by her best friend, David Tuell of Chilhowie, Virginia; daughters, Lorinda Tibbs and husband, Dennis of Ceres, Virginia and Kayla Tuell of Chilhowie, Virginia; son, David Lynam of Chilhowie, Virginia; step-sons, Wayne Tuell and wife, Wendy and Chet Tuell and wife, Jessica all of Richlands, North Carolina; sister, Vicky Cantrell of Kingsport, Tennessee; brothers, James Bo Mullins, David Mathias and Lawrence Mathias all of Pound, Virginia; grandchildren, Justin Tuell, Lexie Tibbs, Joshua Tibbs, Leigh-Ann Tuell, Laci Tuell, Taylynn Tuell and Toni Tuell; close friend, Patty Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Chad Owens officiating. Graveside Services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Old Glade Baptist Cemetery, Glade Spring, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
