Bob, and I were not on the best of terms when I was transferred to the Audit Section but we became better friends after we found we had many things in common. He gave me such support after my husband died and I keep the memory of his words in my heart and I share them with others that need comfort. I still have the Serenity Prayer wedding gift he and Debbie gave us for our wedding and I have treasured memories of Bob through my years that he and I worked together. I am truly sorry for the family's loss. He had a good heart.

Announcements have been made to Robert's friends here in Richmond. The reaction is uniform and predictable, Robert was loved and respected as a friend or as someone who could relied upon to help all if needed. We may all hope to achieve that respect. Back to the mountains he loved he may well hear the voices of his father who he joins and his Heavenly Fathet as they say "This is my son in whom I am proud"

I fondly remember that Robert McCloud sat behind me and Bill Neely sat behind Robert. Being the talker I was, I always turned around to talk to Robert and Bill. I was so impressed that they were reading the newspaper in 5th grade! I wasn't interested in news. Mrs. Copenhaver was really nice to us despite the three of us having these conversations. Robert was always quiet and a great listener. He encouraged me to run for President of our class. Robert helped me write my acceptance speech and he gave me pointers on public speaking. Mrs. Copenhaver gave me a peppermint to clear my throat. I was blessed to have Robert as my friend and class mate. My sincerest condolences to Robert's family.
