Obituary of William King

MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM LYNN "BILLY" KING, age 70; Billy King was born on August 23, 1944; and on November 4, 2014, God called him to his eternal home in heaven, where there is no more pain or suffering, only sweet peace and rest. Billy was a gentle soul, who was much loved by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Pierce and Nannie King; four brothers, Francis, Charley, John, and Jim King; and two sisters, Ann Branham and Dorothy Morrow. Billy is survived by four brothers, Jack King, Marion, VA; Donald King and wife, Ruby, Olivehurst, CA; Richard "Dickie" King and wife, Shelby, Draper, VA; and Rodney King, Bristol, VA; one sister, Carolyn Wymer and husband, Charles, who was like a brother to Billy, of Richlands, VA; one sister-in-law, Anne King, Chilhowie, VA; and brother-in-law, Roy Branham, Alexandria, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Steve Hutton officiating. Private burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening following the funeral service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
