Obituary of Randall Goodman
MARION, VIRGINIA: RANDALL EUGENE GOODMAN, age 90, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at his home in Marion, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Evelyn Handy Goodman and Mary M. Goodman; sons, Randy L. Goodman and Robbie Snavely; three step sons, Larry Greer, Freddie Greer and Toby Greer.
Mr. Goodman was a Veteran of WWII, member of the Marion Masonic Lodge, Francis Marion VFW Post #4667, and Shriners. He was also a life long member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church and life long member of the Walkers Creek Community. He was business owner for over 50 years and a farmer.
Mr. Goodman is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Kay Goodman Coe; three step-children, Dennis Greer and wife, Barbara, Robin Finley, Rick Greer, all of Marion, Virginia; grandchildren, Tammy Collins and husband Tony of Bristol, Virginia, Renee Goodman Presley of Marion, Virginia, Christopher Coe of Marion, Virginia, Trevor L. Goodman of Marion, Virginia; step-grandchildren, Amanda Wallace and husband Paul of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jamie Greer of Marion, Virginia, Larissa Sutherland and husband Ryan of Elk Creek, Virginia, Jessie Finley of Kentucky, Kendra Greer of Abingdon, Virginia; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren; one special nephew, Harry E. "Buster" Goodman and wife Tina of Marion, Virginia; one special niece, Linda H. Gross McClure; several other special nephews and nieces.
Memorial Services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Virginia with Reverend Joe Powers and Reverend David Neitch officiating. A Masonic Service and Full Military Rites Conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post #4667. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
