Obituary of Mary Ann Wold
Mary Ann Neal Wold, 78, of Hendersonville, NC, formerly of Brandon, FL died September, 15, 2014, at McCall Hospice House of Greenville.
Mary Ann was born January 2, 1936 in Jasper, MN to the late Herman and Marie Ivers. She worked in data processing with Continental Can Company; Tampa, FL then took time off to raise her family, the real joy of her life. When she returned to the work force she worked as a Financial Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tampa, FL for 27 years. In retirement Mary Ann settled into the mountains of North Carolina where she was active in Senior Friendship of Henderson County, volunteered at Pardee Hospital for many years, loved bridge, gardening, square dancing and her "Mermaid" friends.She attended the First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville where she was a member of the Alma Lee Chevel Sunday school class.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by two loving husbands James F. Neal and John P. Wold and her brother Vincent Ivers.
She is survived by her son Michael Neal and his wife Debra of Woodbridge, VA; daughters Jann McLane and her husband Nick of Greenville, SC; Tammy Beuthienand her husband Chris of Lexington, KY, Terri Klaeser and her husband John of Greer, SC; eight grand-children; Christopher and his wife Shelby, Brandon and his wife Amanda, Amanda and her husband Blake, Christina and her husband Dustin, Kelli, Virginia, Karly, Emmy; and 4 great grand-children; Kenzie, Avery, Cadence and Lorelei, brothers; Paul Ivers, Willmar, MN and John Ivers, White Bear Lake, MN.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Ridgedale United Methodist Church Cemetery, Saltville, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Carolina Village Inc, 600 Carolina Village Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792 for the Endowment and Scholarship funds or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212.
