Obituary of Virginia Findlay

MARION, VIRGINIA: VIRGINIA "KITTY" FINDLAY, age 101 died Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Floyd, Virginia. Mrs. Findlay had been an active member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of the Marion Junior Women's Club. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Findlay Hatcher of Floyd, Virginia; one niece, Judith Copenhaver McFarlane and husband W.A.; one great-nephew, Brennan A. McFarlane; and one great-niece, Heather McFarlane Hardy. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Alan Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
