Obituary of Mildred Rosenbaum

MARION, VIRGINIA: MILDRED ROSENBAUM, died Wednesday, July 02, 2014 in Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia. She was born January 31, 1930 in Saltville, Virginia. Ms. Rosenbaum was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Minnie Olinger. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Long Poston of Marion, Virginia. Two sons, Ronald Fred Long of Holiday, Florida; Carey Jay Long of Marion, Virginia; two sisters, Juanita Roe, Ruth Frye; one brother, Robert Olinger; six grandchildren, Christopher Long, Veronica Sexton, Rosemary Dawson, John David Watson, Kimberly Poston and Brittney Poston, eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. following the visitation with the Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will be Sunday, July 6, 2014, 2 p.m. at Thomas Cemetery in Marion, Virginia.
